Ridgmont, and all subsidiary companies, actively support the local community and service charities.
Ridgmont
Herefordshire Veteran Support Centre
Ridgmont continues to provide direct support to a number of injured veterans, helping with medical fees associated with unusual conditions, provision of equipment (such as electric bikes), and the use of drivers/vehicles to enable far-flung medical appointments.
Matt Hudd’s Martial Arts Centre
Ridgmont supports Matt Hudd’s Martial Arts Centre; a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that provides invaluable support to elements of our local community that are often overlooked by the broader system. Matt himself is a qualified Mental Health practitioner as well as a Martial Arts Instructor, and combines these skills to provide support and training (at no cost) to both physically and mentally disadvantaged members of our community. Matt and his Team also deliver martial arts instruction to hundreds of local children, developing confidence, whilst promoting wellbeing and fitness.
Cancer charities
Cancer rates continue to grow across UK and the need for research has never been greater. Last year Ridgmont Group sponsored Jo Canton-Smith in her Ride London event, helping to raise over £6000 for MacMillan Nurses, and later in 2024 she will Ride Across Britain (Lands End to John O’Groats) to raise funds for Cancer Research.
Our subsidiary companies
Charitable company award
We are particularly proud of Level Peaks Associates, who were awarded ‘Most Charitable Company’ by the Chamber of Commerce, for their work during the COVID pandemic. Their support to local sports teams, elderly members of our rural population, NHS organisations, local food charities, and veteran charities proved vital during lockdown periods.
